How to Make Your Clothes Last Longer

That perfect tee? It can stay perfect. All it takes is a little laundry strategy. Here’s how to treat your wardrobe with a little more intention — and keep everything looking fresh, sharp, and in rotation for longer.

1. Wash Cold
Hot water wears things out. Cold water keeps fabrics intact, colors vibrant, and energy bills lower. It’s gentler, smarter, and overall better for your clothes.

2. Flip It Inside Out
It takes basically no time and protects against friction, fading, and pilling. Think of it as a layer of protection — especially for prints, denim, and anything delicate.

3. Be Picky With Your Detergent
The wrong detergent is like using dish soap as face wash. Harsh formulas break fabrics down. A good detergent (enter Wishing Well) cleans deeply without damage — keeping texture, softness, and color exactly how you like them.

4. Skip the Dryer (Occasionally)
Heat is rough on clothes. When you can, air dry. Lay flat or hang - you’ll see fewer wrinkles, less shrinkage, and way more longevity.

5. Don’t Overwash
It's a little ironic coming from us, but not everything needs a full wash cycle every time. If it’s not dirty, give it a break. Spot clean, air it out, repeat wear.

TL;DR: Treat your clothes with the same energy you give your skincare routine. A little care = a lot more wear. ✨
