Ever wondered what's actually in a dryer sheet?

It's a small sheet with a lot of jobs: softening clothes, reducing static, and leaving behind fragrance.

But not all dryer sheets are made the same. Our standards are high. Here's what's inside ours, and why we're proud of every part.

Let's start with the sheet itself.

Most traditional dryer sheets are made from polyester, a petroleum-based plastic. Basically, a thin sheet of plastic tumbling around with your clothes.

Ours are made from plant-based cellulose fiber derived from wood pulp, not petroleum.

Same job. Completely different material. No microplastics and no polyester.

The Softening Ingredients

Our sheets use vegetable-based softening agents. They're what coat the fibers just enough to smooth wrinkles, cut static, and leave everything feeling softer coming out of the dryer.

The Fragrance

Every Wishing Well dryer sheet is infused with an elevated, perfume-level fragrance composition. Instead of a generic "fresh laundry" scent, our fragrances are structured like real perfumery, with top, heart, and base notes that create an actual scent story, just like our detergents.

What's NOT in Our Dryer Sheets

We're just as intentional about what we leave out.

How many do you actually need?

One sheet per regular load. For a large or heavily packed load, two. Give the load a little room so the sheet can move freely and distribute evenly.

Can you use dryer sheets with every fabric?

Skip them on anything with technical or moisture-wicking performance, like athletic wear, and on flame-resistant children's sleepwear. For everyday cottons, linens, denim, and bedding, you're good.
