• What makes Afterglow non-toxic?

  After extensive research and consulting with experts in the space, we thoughtfully curated our formula to be made without SLS/SLES, ethoxylated ingredients, 1,4 Dioxane, dyes, formaldehyde, parabens, phthalates, phosphates, optical brighteners, and chlorine bleach, which pose an unnecessary health risk to consumers and the environment

• What does Afterglow smell like?

  Afterglow is a sophisticated fragrance that smells like luxury and self-care. Top notes of bergamot and fresh fruit balanced by elegant floral middle notes and grounding base notes of patchouli, tonka, and chocolate will leave you feeling confident long after the dry cycle.

• Is Afterglow suitable for sensitive skin?

  Our formula was designed with the most sensitive skin in mind, made without sulfate surfactants and chlorine-based bleaches. Our Afterglow fragrance was thoughtfully developed to exclude potentially harmful ingredients listed on the EWG Unacceptable List and the EU Cosmetic Product Regulation 1223/2009 Annex II, and is made without ethoxylated ingredients, 1,4 Dioxane, SLS/SLES, dyes, formaldehyde, parabens, phthalates, phosphates, optical brighteners and chlorine bleach. With that said, we are mindful of the fact that fragrance (even as simple as essential oils) can be irritating for some people in general, so if your skin is extra sensitive or doesn’t handle fragrances well, we recommend you try our fragrance-free laundry detergent, Sunday Reset.

• How effective is Afterglow at removing stains?

  Our ultra-concentrated formula offers powerful stain fighting due to a highly effective blend of enzymes — Amylase, Protease, Lipase, Pectinase, Mannanase and Cellulase. Enzymes are naturally occurring proteins that help to break down specific types of stains and dirt. We curated our blend of enzymes to digest and remove even the most stubborn stains like magic (and yes, we even mean that pesky red wine stain!)

• Is Afterglow eco-friendly?

  Yes, Afterglow comes in a recyclable aluminum bottle and excludes ethoxylated ingredients, SLS/SLES, dyes, formaldehyde, parabens, phthalates, phosphates, optical brighteners, and chlorine bleach, which are harmful chemicals that may cause water pollution and impact ecosystems.

• How long does one bottle of Afterglow last?

  Each bottle is ultra-concentrated, providing up to 74 small loads of laundry per 20oz bottle. It’s time to ditch the messy, clunky plastic jugs for a bottle that’s easy to store.

• Can I use Afterglow for hand-washing clothes?

  Absolutely! Our formula is gentle on your hands and delicate fabrics while still providing powerful cleaning.

• Is Afterglow detergent cruelty-free and vegan?

  Yes, Afterglow is cruelty-free and vegan, with no animal testing or animal-derived ingredients. We love animals as much as you do, and we’ll protect them at all costs!

• How do I recycle the bottle once it runs out?

  Empty bottle? You laundry queen! Toss it straight in the recycling - no rinse needed, thanks to our biodegradable, planet-friendly formula. As for the pump, we’re actively working on an option for you to reuse it in the future, so you won’t need a new one each time. But for now, if you're finished with it, go ahead and toss the pump — the small spring inside means it’s not recyclable just yet.

• How should I store my Wishing Well bottles?

  We recommend storing your Wishing Well bottles upright in a cool, dry place to prevent any leaking. If you need to store them on their side—for travel or tight spaces—make sure the pump is in the locked position. Just press the pump down and twist clockwise until it clicks closed. This helps keep everything sealed and mess-free!
